MG has launched the 2022 facelift of the ZS EV, which includes significant interior and exterior upgrades. The vehicle now has a larger battery to increase range, as well as improved interior comfort and safety. The inside includes a new 7-inch completely digital instrument cluster as well as a larger 10.1-inch infotainment touch screen. The company calls the ZS EV India's first Internet-connected SUV, and it will offer 75+ iSmart connectivity features that can be accessed via your phone. The 2022 MG ZS EV's i-SMART technology integrates hardware, software, services, and applications to make driving easier and more pleasant. The all-new ZS EV has over 75 connected car features, ushering in a new era of easily linked driving. Users can use their cellphones to operate many features of the vehicle, such as air conditioning, locking and unlocking the vehicle, connecting it to their Android or iOS smartwatch, checking battery statistics, and giving voice commands. The ZS EV can receive 100+ VR instructions to control the sky roof, ac, music, radio, navigation, and other features.
The 2022 MG ZS EV also comes with a digital key that can be used to lock, unlock, start, and even drive the vehicle. Simply pair it with your smartphone using Bluetooth technology.
The new MG ZS EV is touted as Car-as-a-Platform (CAAP) that will handle numerous car services in partnership with partners like Jio, Map My India, Park+, and Shortpedia. In addition to these partner platforms, the 2022 ZS EV includes other connected capabilities.

With the assistance of these partners, MG will provide several services for the convenience of customers; navigation tasks on the MG ZS EV will be handled by Map My India. With its 4D maps, Map My India will support satellite navigation. If you're concerned about obtaining a parking spot for your car, Park+ will take care of it. Using the integrated Park+ feature, you can pre-book a parking spot before arriving at the location. Jio app suite will allow you to stream songs using Jio Saavn and will take care of your entertainment needs. Shortpedia also allows you to read and listen to the news in Hindi or English.
The 2022 MG ZS EV now comes with a larger 50.3 kWh battery pack that provides 461 km of range on a single charge. This battery is linked to a single electric motor with 176 PS of power, allowing the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds. The base Excite trim model of the MG ZS EV costs Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be available in July 2022. MG is now selling its lone top-spec ZS EV Exclusive variant, which is available at Rs. 25.88 lakh (ex-showroom).
