2022 Toyota Innova Hycross To Debut On November 25 - Details

Toyota Kirloskar Motor is all set to debut its all-new product, the Innova Hycross in India on November 25, 2022. The Japanese carmaker is expected to reveal the prices for the same in January at the 2023 Auto Expo. We share everything you need to know about the upcoming Innova Hycross in this article.

Under the hood, Innova Hycross will be powered by two engine options - a strong hybrid and a 2.0-litre, naturally aspirated petrol motor. There will be no diesel engine on offer this time. Both units are widely popular in the new-gen Corolla that is sold globally. The power of both engines is not yet out but we do expect 192 bhp with the strong hybrid and 168 bhp with the naturally aspirated petrol.

The new Innova Hycross also sits on a newer Toyota's TNGA-C platform. The ladder on frame chassis is often seen with the older Innova's, however, it's not the case with the Hycross. It now sits on the newer monocoque chassis and gets a front-wheel drive setup. We hope that the Hycross will offer the same comfort level and continue to keep the Innova legacy ahead.

Feature-wise too, the Hycross is better than before. We expect a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, a larger touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, LED projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights and more. The optional 2nd-row seats will also receive an ottoman function for more comfort.

Verdict

We believe that the upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross will continue to keep the Innova legacy strong with supreme comfort, top-notch features and with strong reliability. As far as the prices are concerned then we expect it to stick between Rs 20 lakh to Rs 30 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
