Tata Safari and Tata Harrier: Price, Variants, Powertrain and Latest Updates
The Tata Safari (ex-showroom Delhi: Rs 15.65 lakh to Rs 25.01 lakh) offers six variants: XE, XM, XMS, XT+, XZ, and XZ+. Special editions like the 'Dark' and 'Red Dark' are also available. You can configure it with either 6 or 7 seats. It features a 2-litre diesel engine (170PS/350Nm) and comes with a choice of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
On the other hand, the Tata Harrier (ex-showroom Delhi: Rs 15 lakh to Rs 24.07 lakh) comes in six variants: XE, XM, XMS, XT+, XZ, and XZ+. Exclusive special editions like the 'Dark' and 'Red Dark' are offered on the top trim. With seating for up to five occupants, it offers a spacious interior. Sharing the same 2-litre diesel engine (170PS/350Nm) with the Safari, the Harrier can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter.
In recent news, Tata Motors is planning a comprehensive facelift for its SUV range, including the Harrier, Safari, and Nexon. Test mules of the updated versions have been spotted. Additionally, Tata Motors will be increasing the prices of all its products later this month.
