KIA is testing its upcoming Seltos mid-size SUV facelift in India. The new 2023 KIA Seltos facelift is expected to launch by July'23. It'll get hosts of updates out of which one is going to be a big panoramic sunroof. Read below more details about the upgrades that it'll bring. KIA Seltos Facelift - What Will Be New?
KIA has already launched the new model of Seltos in USA. While it might not come as it is in India; there'll be noticeable similarities between the two. For starters, it'll get a heavily redesigned front fascia. A new set of LED headlights, new LED DRL design, new front grille, & redesigned bumper is what we expect. KIA will try to make the new Seltos look more aggressive. Also, the side profile will be enhanced via new alloy wheels. But, most importantly, it'll get a big panoramic sunroof now. It lacked the panoramic sunroof which its sibling rival i.e. Hyundai Creta offers. Now, the latest spy shots have revealed that it'll get a similar-size sunroof.
At the rear. the new facelift will get new LED taillights with sequential turn LED indicators. The rear bumper is also expected to get revised in design. Meanwhile, there won't be any other changes to the new Seltos in terms of design. On the inside, it'll get a new digital instrument console and a new infotainment system with more interactive and responsive UI. KIA will also offer enhanced safety features like ADAS Level 2 and blind-spot monitoring camera, etc., on it. Also, the interior colour theme shall also be revised. KIA is expected to offer the same drivetrain options as on the current model on it.
Verdict - India Launch, Price, & Rivals
KIA has not spoken officially about the debut of new Seltos in India until now. But, we expect that it shall debut as early as in July'23. As it'll get new design and more features, prices of it are bound to be hiked. We expect that the new Seltos will get pricier by up to Rs 40,000-50,000 depending on the variants. Some of its main rivals in India are - Maruti Grand Vitara & MG Astor.
