2023 Tata Nexon Steering Wheel Photos Leaked - Gets Digital Screen!

2023 Tata Nexon facelift is going to debut soon in the Indian market. The latest spy photos of its steering wheel reveal the new design & features.

Tata is developing a new facelift of its popular SUV Nexon. The test mules of it have been already spotted multiple times. Now, the latest leaked images online show its steering wheel design. 2023 Tata Nexon Facelift - New Steering Wheel Design

While the exact details about the location of these photos are unknown, the steering wheel is clearly visible. The up & close photos show a new two-spoke steering wheel with leather stitching on it. Also, there is no Tata logo in the middle. But, a digital screen has been fitted instead of the traditional logo placement. Meanwhile, the placement of the driver-side airbag and the horn pads is still unknown. One can also spot the media controls and the cruise control buttons on both sides. These buttons are also pneumatic touch, as visible. The bottom of the steering is flat in design with a purple highlight; which seems will be the highlight colour of the interior design.

Now, these new leaked photos have definitely raised eyebrows as well as questions. For example, the safety of the driver when the airbag will open or the placement of the airbag itself. Also, the new digital display will behold the Tata logo and show it while driving but will it not be distracting? Well, all of these questions will only be answered when the new model debuts. Tata has scheduled the production commencement of the new Nexon in July'23. It'll get Curvv SUV-inspired exterior as well as interior design. In fact, the steering wheel is also inspired by it. Rumours also suggest that the 1.2-lt turbo-petrol will be re-tuned to make more power & torque.

Verdict

The Tata Nexon is currently one of the best-selling SUVs in India. It offers a great value-for-money package with a long choice of variants and features. However, the rivals like KIA Sonet, Hyundai Venue, & Maruti Brezza have updated recently. Hence, a new facelift will keep the fire on for Tata. We anticipate that the new features and design will result in the price hike of the new model by a minimal margin.
