  • Take a look at the list for all possible updates, changes & additions

Three of the big carmakers in India are all set to give a midlife facelift to their most popular SUV models in the coming few months. These 3 carmakers are Tata Motors, Hyundai, and Kia. Tata Motors is set to bring the facelift of Nexon, Harrier/Safari. Hyundai is expected to bring the 2023 facelifted Creta to India. And Kia too is likely to introduce the Sonet facelift and Seltos facelift in India in the coming months. All these SUVs are expected to get some really advanced features and interesting design changes. Here are every possible changes, updates, and additions that you can expect in these 5 upcoming SUV facelifts.

2023 Tata Nexon Facelift:

Tata has been testing the new 2023 Nexon facelift on Indian roads for some time now. The Nexon facelift has been spotted several times during its test runs. That's a clear signal that Tata is much near to the launch of the Nexon facelift. The design of the new Nexon facelift is expected to be inspired by Tata's concept Curvv. The front of the Nexon is likely to get Harrier/Safari-inspired top-mounted DRLs with headlamps below them. On the features front, rumors suggest that the new Nexon will offer a 360-degree camera, new 10.24-inch touchscreen infotainment, a new 7-inch instrument cluster, wireless Android auto/Apple car play, etc.

2023 Tata Harrier/Safari Facelift:

Tata Harrier & Safari are the flagship products of Tata Motors. Both these SUVs are one of the most good-looking vehicles in their respective segments. However, after the launch of rivals like the Mahindra XUV700, the new 2023 MG Hector/Hector Plus, etc, the Tata Harrier & Safari have been facing some serious competition. Also, since their first launch, both of these Tata SUVs haven't received any design changes. Now, Tata is all set to give its Harrier & Safari their first midlife facelift in the coming few months.

On the design front, we expect both these SUVs to get a new front design similar to the Harrier EV showcased by Tata at the 2023 auto expo. Also, both the SUVs will likely get a connected LED lightbar design in the front & rear. On the Inside, Tata has already added all the missing features in the recently launched updates of both SUVs. However, we expect Tata to add a few more features like the next-gen connected car tech with smartwatch integration and H2C tech (Home to Car with Alexa & Google Assistant), a new steering wheel, and ADAS features like adaptive cruise control & lane keep assist.

2023 Hyundai Creta Facelift

Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular and successful models of Hyundai in India. It has gone through several facelifts and updates during its lifetime, but the upcoming 2023 facelift of the Hyundai Creta is going to be a major update for the midsize SUV. Hyundai is likely to change the front & rear design of the Creta. The new Creta will get a Tucson-like parametric grille in the front with redesigned headlamps. In the rear, it will have a connected lightbar design. On the features & tech front, Hyundai is expected to load the new Creta with new segment-disrupting features like level-2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, etc. It might also get features like HUD (heads-up display), front parking sensors, blind view monitor, heated front seats, etc.

2023 Kia Seltos Facelift:

Launched as the first Kia model in India, the Seltos is one of the most tech & feature-loaded SUVs in the segment. However, Kia has not given any design update to the Seltos since its first launch in 2019. Thus, Kia is set to bring the 2023 Seltos facelift to India by the end of 2023 or early 2024. The new Seltos will get some design changes in the front & rear. These include redesigned headlamps & taillamps, a new front grille, new alloy wheels, etc. When it comes to features, the new Seltos will finally get a panoramic sunroof, level-2 ADAS, electric parking brake with auto hold, etc.

2023 Kia Sonet Facelift:

The 2023 Kia Sonet facelift was recently spotted during its road testing. The camouflaged test vehicle revealed a number of changes & updates that the facelifted Sonet will get. These include new alloy wheels, redesigned front & rear bumpers, new design headlamps & taillamps, front & rear parking sensors, etc. Although Kia Sonet is already one of the most feature-packed compact SUVs in India, we expect Kia to add a few more features like wireless Android auto/Apple car play, all-wheel disc brakes, 360-degree camera, a larger digital instrument cluster display, etc in the upcoming 2023 Sonet facelift.
