
Volkswagen India is trying to leave no stone unturned to boost its sales. As we all know, India is currently undergoing Lockdown 3.0 to combat the novel coronavirus. Due to the prolonged lockdown in the country, the various sectors of the economy has been badly affected including the automobile sector. The automakers have now introduced their digital platforms to amplify vehicle sales. Moreover, the automakers are also offering tempting discount offers to lure the customers to buy a car or a bike. In a bid to this, Volkswagen Dealerships are now giving an attractive offer under which you can buy a Volkswagen Polo BS6 now and can start paying EMIs for it after a year.

Volkswagen India Dealerships are proffering a tempting offer on the BS6-compliant Volkswagen Polo. Under this scheme, one can own a Volkswagen Polo BS6 by paying a down payment of Rs. 2 lakhs and then can choose to pay the EMIs after 12 months of purchase. It is not an EMI waivement scheme but it's like an EMI deferment scheme as the EMI of the car is deferred for one complete year. Moreover, the finance amount will be capped to prevent interest rates from hiking later. One can get up to 70 per cent On-road amount financed and the balance 30 per cent amount has to be paid as a down payment.
The Finance Scheme shall be provided through Volkswagen Finance and will be applicable at an interest rate of 9.75 per cent. Furthermore, Volkswagen India is also offering an additional cash discount of Rs. 15,000 and Corporate discount worth Rs. 3000 to Corporate Employees. It is worth mentioning that the amount of discount on the Volkswagen Polo BS6 EMIs scheme may vary from region to region and dealership to dealership. But you can always negotiate with the dealer to get a sweet deal on your favourite car.

If we talk about the 2020 Volkswagen Polo BS6, it gets two BS6-compliant petrol engines. It is powered by a BS6-compliant 1.0-litre MPI petrol motor that churns out 76 PS of power and 95 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. It also gets a more powerful 1.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol motor that churns out 110 PS of power and 172 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The lower variants get the MPI motor while the higher variants are powered by the powerful TSI unit.

The prices of the BS6-compliant Volkswagen Polo starts at Rs. 5.82 lakhs and go up to Rs. 9.59 lakhs, all prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi.
