Citroen C3 Aircross Booking and Delivery Schedule Revealed - Details

A few months ago, Citroen India unveiled its third offering, the C3 Aircross, for the Indian market. The company is now gearing up to launch this SUV in the upcoming months. Positioned in the mid-size SUV segment, the upcoming C3 Aircross will face competition from well-established products already present in the Indian market. In anticipation of its launch, the brand recently disclosed the booking and delivery schedule for the upcoming SUV during a national media drive event.

Citroen C3 Aircross - Bookings & Delivery Timeline

Bookings for the upcoming C3 Aircross are set to begin in September, with deliveries scheduled to start in October. Consequently, the C3 Aircross is expected to be officially launched either in August or September, along with the commencement of the booking process.

The upcoming C3 Aircross shares its platform with the C3 hatchback, and it exhibits a striking resemblance to its smaller sibling at the front. The front grille is finished in glossy black and showcases the signature Citroen chrome lining, along with dual LED daytime running lights (DRLs). Moving to the sides of the SUV, notable features include roof rails, blacked-out outside rear-view mirrors (ORVMs), pentagonal-shaped diamond-cut alloy wheels, and blacked-out pillars. At the rear of the car, you will find LED taillamps that elegantly extend to the sides of the vehicle.

The SUV boasts the largest wheelbase in its segment, measuring 2,671 mm. Additionally, the vehicle offers a spacious 511-liter trunk. The C3 Aircross gets a removable third-row seating providing extra luggage space for buyers who opt for the 7-seater model. The interior of the SUV boasts several standout features, such as a digital instrument cluster and roof-mounted air conditioning vents for the second row, a 10.15-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay among other features.

Citroen C3 Engine Specifications

The C3 Aircross will be powered by the 1.2-liter PureTech 82 engine, producing 82 PS of power and 115 Nm of maximum torque. On the other hand, the three-row model will feature a 1.2-liter PureTech 110 turbo-petrol engine, delivering a robust 110 PS and 190 Nm of maximum torque. The Puretech 82 variant will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the more powerful engine will be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
