VinFast VF6 Spotted In Final Stages Of Testing; Details

The VinFast VF6 is likely going to be in two variants, known as Comfort, and Technology+. Both of them will be powered by the same 59.6kWh battery pack, with varying range figures, and the car will also be assembled locally at VinFast's plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.
In terms of colour options, you will be able to choose from a total of six options; Infinity Blanc, Urban Mint, Jet Black, Crimson Red, Desat Silver, and Zenith Grey.

While both variants will also be powered by a front-wheel motor setup, the performance specs will differ. The lower-spec variant will come with 174bhp and 250Nm of torque, with a claimed top speed of 150kmph. The lower-spec variant also carries a NEDC-claimed range figure of 470km on a single charge. Meanwhile, the top-spec variant packs in 201bhp and 310Nm of torque, with a claimed top speed of 175kmph, and an NEDC-claimed range of 430km. However, we can expect these figures to alter slightly in order to suit our driving conditions.

The Comfort+ variant will be equipped with things such as dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats with power adjustability for the driver, and dual-tone vegan upholstery to name a few. The Technology+ variant will come with things such as Level 2 ADAS, a colour head-up display, and connected car tech among many other things. Additionally, both variants are likely to come with an edge-to-edge glass panoramic roof.
The VF6 is all set to be launched sometime in August, along with its big brother, the VF7. Stay tuned for more details on the VinFast front.
