Verdict
With the launch of the e Vitara, Maruti Suzuki is signaling a serious step into India's EV market. It blends familiarity in design with competitive features and practical range offerings. While final pricing is yet to be revealed, the e Vitara's extensive feature list and multiple variants indicate it will cater to a broad spectrum of buyers. If Maruti can back it with a strong service and charging ecosystem, the e Vitara could emerge as a significant player in the mainstream electric SUV segment, which with its legacy brand name, works pretty well in its favour.
