Force Motors has recently teased the upcoming Gurkha 5-Door for the Indian market. The brand has teased the vehicle in multiple teasers revealing some new details of the upcoming 5-door version. Force Gurkha 5-Door
The design of the upcoming 5-door version will be similar to the 3-door version but the major alteration in the dimensions will be done. The 5-door version will get extended wheelbase and length to accommodate a 3-row seating. The test mule of the Gurkha 5-door has been spotted multiple times and revealed some details of the upcoming SUV.
The recently released teaser has given a glimpse of the interior and exterior of the upcoming SUV. It will get a similar front profile with a squared-off headlamp assembly, a round LED headlamp with DRLs and a big 2-slat grille. The side profile will also get a similar design for the alloy wheels but the size is expected to be increased, a snorkel for better water wading, and a roof rack. The rear will also get a similar treatment as the 3-door version
On the inside, the cabin will get some new features. The brand has already teased a new touchscreen infotainment unit, a digital driver display with features like TPMS. The teaser has also confirmed that the 5-door version will be available with a 5-speed manual transmission with a shift-on-fly 4WD system and similar differential lock controls as the 3-door version. For the seating, the Gurkha 5-door will get captain seats in the third row.

Force Gurkha 5-Door Engine Specifications
The upcoming Gurkha 5-door will get the tried and tested 2.6-litre diesel engine as the Gurkha 3-door. We can anticipate some boost in the power and torque of the 5-door version. This engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Also, the Gurkha 5-door will come with 4WD system as standard.
Verdict
The upcoming Force Gurkha 5-door will be a direct rival to the upcoming Mahindra Thar 5-Door. The Gurkha has remained an underrated product in the Indian market but with the 5-door version the practicality of the vehicle will be improved. Along with the launch of the Gurkha 5-door the brand is expected to update the 3-door version of the SUV as well.
