Honda Car India is now prepping up for the festive season and has already launched the Honda Amaze Special Edition. Honda Amaze Special Edition is based on the S trim and prices of the same start from Rs 7 lakh and goes to Rs 9.10 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi. Honda is offering the Special Editon Amaze with petrol MT/CVT and diesel MT/CVT.
As we told you earlier that the Special edition Amaze is based on the S trim but gets some enhancements. On the exteriors, we have some striking body graphics, "Special Edition" badging at the boot lid, wheel covers and shark fin antenna. Moving to the interiors, Honda has offered the Digipad 2.0 touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, stylish seat covers with "Special Edition" embossing and sliding armrest.
|Variants||Special Edition||S Trim|
|Petrol MT||Rs 7,00,000||Rs 6,88,000|
|Petrol CVT||Rs 7,90,000||Rs 7,78,000|
|Diesel MT||Rs 8,30,000||Rs 8,18,000|
|Diesel CVT||Rs 9,10,000||Rs 8,98,000|
All the Special edition trims of the Amaze are Rs 12,000 more expensive than the equivalent S trim options. For the extra Rs 12,000, you are getting sliding armrest, Digipad 2.0 infotainment and some sporty decals. The Special Edition has been launched to appeal the buyers this festive season. The prices of the Honda Amaze Special Edition are justified thanks to the added kit and exclusivity.
Talking about the powertrain options, the Amaze comes with a 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine producing 90hp and 110 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual and CVT. The diesel, on the other hand, is a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine which churns out 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual and 7-step CVT. The Amaze is also the only compact sedan of its segment to offer diesel CVT which is unseen in this segment.
