Hyundai India has commenced the deliveries of its latest Micro SUV, the Hyundai Exter. Following the commencement of reservations in May, the Exter received over 10,000 bookings prior to the launch on July 10. This Hyundai's entry-level SUV occupies a slot below the Venue in the brand's lineup. Serving as Hyundai's response to the popular Tata Punch, the Exter aims to capture the attention with its compelling features and competitive pricing.

The Exter SUV is launched within the price range of Rs.5.99 lakhs to Rs. 9.32 lakhs ex-showroom. While it sits below the Venue, it rubs its shoulders with the popular Tata Punch. Hyundai Exter comes with a single 1.2 L petrol engine mated to a 5-speed Manual and an AMT gearbox. It puts out a power of 83PS with a peak torque of 113.8 Nm.
