Hyundai Venue Spied Again- Refreshed Looks And More

Hyundai Motor India is reportedly preparing to launch an updated version of its popular Venue compact SUV. A test mule of the 2026 Hyundai Venue facelift has been sighted once again, this time sporting a Bengaluru number plate, hinting at a potential launch in the near future. The heavily camouflaged test vehicle provides clues about its refreshed exterior design. It appears that many of the updated design elements for the 2026 Venue will be in line with a more unified design theme across the brand's line-up.

Key visual changes suggested by the test mule include a prominent, large center grille and vertically-stacked rectangular headlamps featuring a dual-chamber LED reflector setup. The lighting signature is further enhanced by inverted L-shaped DRLs positioned on the sides and a distinctive LED strip spanning the width of the vehicle, creating a cohesive and modern look.
Interior And Features

The rear design of the updated Venue has been caught on camera multiple times, revealing a connected tail-lamp setup. This is expected to be a refreshed unit, complemented by a shark fin antenna and a reworked lower bumper. While the interior of this particular test mule remained concealed, previous spy shots have given us a good idea of what to expect inside. Higher variants of the compact SUV are anticipated to feature a dual-screen layout, similar to what we've seen in the refreshed Creta. We're also expecting a panoramic sunroof to replace the current single-pane unit, along with a host of other premium features. These could include ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, a wireless charger, and a larger infotainment screen, among others.

Familiar Powerplant

The 2026 Hyundai Venue is anticipated to retain its current powertrain options, offering familiar choices to buyers. This includes an 83 PS, 114 Nm torque 1.2-litre petrol engine with a 5-speed manual, a 120 PS, 172 Nm torque, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol available with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT, and a 116 PS, 250 Nm torque, 1.5-litre diesel unit paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The updated 2026 Hyundai Venue is expected to launch by the end of 2025 or early 2026. Upon its release, it will continue to compete in the highly contested compact SUV segment, challenging rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Maruti Brezza, among others.
Verdict
Venue, in India, has been a great success in the sub 4 meter SUV space, which is not only highly contested, but also the current favourite segement, going by the sales number and the stats. The facelift is only going to make it even better in terms of overall styling, the features on offer, and other parameters of style and comfort. Expect the Venue N-Line to also follow this path soon after the offical debut.
