The difference in body styling between the EV6 and EV9 is quite evident. The EV6 sports a crossover stance, while the EV9 appears like an SUV from all angles. In terms of exterior styling, the EV6 is a sharp-looking vehicle with its aggressive design elements, prominent character lines and a gently sloping roofline. Overall the lowered stance works well in giving the EV6 a futuristic yet mature design. Inside the cabin, dual 12.3-inch displays add to the overall simplistic appeal of the dashboard layout which houses the horizontal AC vents.

The design of the EV9 is quite opposite, as it sports a boxy silhouette, with similar sort of design elements. The overall appearance is quite futuristic, to say the least. As the EV SUV is still in concept form, it remains to be seen that how the final production-spec design turns out. Inside the cabin, a single unit 27-inch display works as the infotainment display as well as the driver's instrument cluster. Some of the other prominent design elements inside the cabin include a seamless dashboard layout, a futuristic steering wheel unit, multiple colour ambient lighting and more. The EV6 gets 19-inch wheels while the EV9 uses 22-inch units. Another important point to note is that the EV6 is a two-row crossover while the EV9 will be a proper 3 row SUV.
