Kia India recorded its best-ever wholesales of 33,462 units in October 2026, which is 13.22% more than the sales recorded in October last year. The high sales figures are a result of the festive season, handsome discount rates and the Kia Seltos, which has crossed 13,000 units and is the star product in the portfolio. Let’s learn more about the news below.
Kia Sales From January to October 2026
Kia has sold 2,86,470 units between January and October 2026. In the same period last year, it sold 2,36,138 units. That is growth of 21.31%, or 50,332 additional vehicles.
Two months still remain in the calendar year, but the brand has already beaten its entire 2025 tally of 2,80,286 units, by 6,184 units. On average, Kia has dispatched around 28,647 units every month in 2026.
Kia Seltos and Sonet Lead the Sales Chart

The Seltos and Sonet remained Kia’s biggest volume drivers in October. The Seltos alone crossed 13,000 units, which is roughly 39% of the monthly total. Kia says the SUV has averaged over 10,000 units a month since the latest model’s launch in January 2026. However, the brand has not yet disclosed the exact sales figures for the Sonet.
Family buyers continued to pick the Carens and Carens Clavis. Kia also reports a positive response to the Sorento launched on September 4, which comes with hybrid and diesel powertrain options.

Oct-26 | 33,462 | +1,445 | 4.51% |

Record EV Sales and a Growing CNG Share
Electric vehicle sales hit a monthly high in October, up 31% over September 2026. The Syros EV and Carens Clavis EV both contributed to this. CNG is gaining ground too. The Carens and Carens Clavis CNG variants made up close to 10% of total sales. With petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric options also on offer, Kia now sells across five powertrain types.
Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India, attributed the record to festive demand, established models and the response to newer launches. He also pointed to buyer interest in the Sorento’s technology and hybrid efficiency, and to the rising share of CNG and electric models.
