The latest discount offers from Skoda for November 2020 are as high as Rs 1.10 lakh for some models. Currently, the line-up from the Czech carmaker includes a budget sedan that is the Rapid, Karoq, Superb and the performance-oriented sedan which is the Octavia RS.

Skoda Rapid
Skoda launched the BS6 Rapid a few months back and it instantly grabbed all the eyeballs. It was the base Rider variants which got popular and bookings were so much that Skoda had to stop further orders. Then they brought in the Rider Plus which was also an instant hit among the Indian market.

This BS6 Rapid packs in a new heart and shares the same engine as the Volkswagen Vento TSI. This one gets a three-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit which makes as much as 109 bhp at 5000 RPM and a peak torque of 175 Nm at 1750 RPM. Skoda provides two transmission option with this engine - a 6-speed manual stick shift and a 6-speed torque converter unit.
Currently, Skoda is providing a total of Rs 1.10 lakh worth of discount for this sedan. This is only applicable to Ambition and Style variant. The discount figure is further broken down into Rs 70,000 as cash, Rs 25,000 exchange and another Rs 15,000 as a corporate discount. There is no discount for the Rider Plus variant.
The prices of the Skoda Rapid starts from as low as Rs 7.49 lakh and go as high as Rs 13.29 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The car competes with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Vento and Toyota Yaris.
Skoda Karoq
The mid-size SUV which shares the same platform as the Volkswagen T-Roc is available with a total discount worth Rs 1 lakh. This is further seen as Rs 30,000 as corporate, another Rs 35,000 as exchange and another Rs 35,000 as a loyalty bonus for current Skoda owners.

It is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine which makes as much as 148 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. This unit is mated to a 7-speed DSG unit and also gets paddle shifters to make the gear shift quicker.
In other news, there is no official discount for the Superb and Octavia RS. However, we recommend you to visit your nearest dealership and enquire about the festive discount available for both these models. Also, car discounts vary from dealer to dealer and city to city.
