Mahindra Vision T New Teaser Details

Previously, we had speculated that the Vision T could be a more closer-to-production version of the Thar.e concept that was shown back in 2023. This new teaser seems to confirm those speculations, offerning a view of the side, and a glimpse of the front of the car. The Vision T seems to retain most design elements from the Thar.e concept, such as the angular flared wheel arches, the squared-off flat bonnet, along with the hood clamps on the side.

The front fascia may be slightly reworked to make it more production-ready, but the teaser shows the headlamps are still quite familiar to the Thar.e concept, and it also retains the protruding side indicators on the fender. The knobby tyres have also been retained, thus confirming the off-roading intentions of this car.

Much like the BE 6 and the XEV 9E, the Vision T will be underpinned by the INGLO all-electric platform, but it is difficult to comment on the exact motor and battery specifications. However, it is safe to assume that the Vision T will likely begin with a rear-wheel drive setup, and it will also likely come with a specialised 4x4 setup. While we can expect the same 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs to be carried over, we won't be too surprised if Mahindra brings over other higher-capacity battery packs as well.

Given that the Vision T has gotten a second teaser, we can also expect similar teasers for the Vision S, the Vision SXT, and the Vision X, because Mahindra definitely wants us to talk about them.

Verdict
The Vision T is highly likely going to be the future of the Thar in an all-electric form, and with Tata coming up with the Sierra EV, Mahindra might just do something outrageous with an electric Thar in terms of design.
