One of the best-selling products from the house Maruti is the Baleno itself. It is even the most-selling premium hatchback in the segment and gets updates at regular intervals. This time it gets a 3-point seatbelt for the rear middle passenger along with an adjustable third headrest. Both features are the first in the premium hatchback segment. This gives it an edge over its rivals, Tata Altroz and the Hyundai i20.

This also means that the Toyota Glanza will be getting these updates soon as well. Glanza is a rebranded version of Baleno from Toyota under the Toyota - Maruti partnership. This could possibly mean stricter safety norms as well. Last year
