The off-roader Jimny 5-door from Maruti Suzuki is about to be launched in the Indian market, and the company has already begun delivering the car to dealers. Before the launch, the company is continuously testing the car in hilly areas, and up until now, we have only seen spy photos of it in the Kinetic Yellow colour. A new Bluish Black colour of the Jimny has now been spotted in the mountains in the most latest set of leaked images.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny
The new Jimny will directly compete with the powerful off-roader Mahindra Thar. When compared to the Jimny, which is a compact car with smaller proportions than the Thar, the Thar has a strong structure and a wide stance. The Maruti Jimny has a clamshell bonnet, circular LED headlamps, squared-off wheel arches, 16-inch tyres, side indicators positioned on the fenders, and other features. The rear gets spare tyre mounted on the tailgate, while taillamps are installed on the bumper.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny Safety Features
Maruti Suzuki has given improving passenger safety a primary focus when designing the Jimny. The Jimny is powered by a 1.5-liter K15B smart hybrid petrol engine, which is known for its high fuel efficiency. A 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed torque converter will be paired with the engine. The Jimny also has the Suzuki AllGrip Pro 4x4 system, which improves its off-road capabilities. On rough terrains, this system ought to offer improved traction and stability. The locking differentials are a useful addition that will aid the vehicle in navigating difficult terrain and obstructions.
