Maruti Suzuki seems to be preparing to launch a new edition of its top-selling sub-4 metre SUV Brezza. According to recently leaked details, the special edition of the Brezza will be called the Urbano Edition and will be available for the LXI and VXI variants. Maruti Suzuki Brezza Urbano Edition
The upcoming Urbano Edition will be available in the LXI and VXI trims of the Brezza. If we talk about the additional features and styling elements, the LXI Urbano Edition gets a touchscreen infotainment, reverse parking camera, speakers, and front fog lamps. For the styling elements, the accessory pack consists of front and rear skid plates, fog lamp garnish, front grille chrome garnish, body side moulding, and wheel arch kits.
Pricing-wise all these additional accessories cost Rs 52,370 if bought separately and Rs 42,000 if bought as a kit. However, the brand has priced the Urbano edition at Rs 15,000 more than the ex-showroom price of the LXI variant, resulting in a savings of Rs 27,000 for customers.
The Brezza VXI Urbano Edition also gets additional accessories which include a reverse parking camera and front fog lamps as part of utility accessories. Moreover, it also gets additional styling accessories which include 3D floor mats, dashboard upgrades, side body moulding, protective metal sill guard, number plate garnish, and wheel arch kit. Pricing-wise all these accessories cost Rs 26,149 if bought separately, Rs 18,500 if bought as a kit. For the Urbano edition, the brand is offering all these accessories for Rs 3,500 only, resulting in a savings of Rs 15,000 for customers.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza Urbano Edition - Specifications
The Brezza Urbano Edition will be available with the 1.5-litre NA petrol engine producing 102 bhp of power and 137 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor AT gearbox.
Verdict
Maruti Suzuki is continously updating its vehicle lineup with new editions. Recently, the brand has launched the Fronx Velocity edition adding more accessories to it. For the budget buyer's the brand has launched a Dream Edition for the Alto K10, WagonR, and S-Presso, making them more feature loaded. These additions makes the vehicle more appealing and more feature loaded in order to attract more customers.
