MG Motor Lineup For The 2023 Auto Expo - Here's A List

In the Indian market, MG Motor India has experienced significant growth. The brand's Hector, Astor, Gloster, and ZS EV turned out as a successful products in India. As the Auto Expo Motor Show draws closer, the brand is preparing to present new products there. Prior to that, on January 5, the company will present a brand-new product to the media. However, the company has not made it clear which product they would showcase.  We'll look at the upcoming MG Motor cars coming in 2023 Auto Expo.

MG Hector & Hector Plus Facelift

The Hector & Hector Plus SUV facelifts are among the most eagerly anticipated MG products. In India, MG Hector has been a popular product for the company; an update is now necessary. The company has previously revealed the upcoming facelift's small details, and test mules of the vehicles have often appeared online. The brand will also introduce the updated version of Hector Plus, the 6- or 7-seater sibling. According to rumours, both Hector variants will receive interior and exterior visual updates as well as some new functions. Additionally, we can assume that the manufacturer may include ADAS features in both vehicles. It is anticipated that the engine specifications will be the same.

MG Air EV

MG Motor will introduce its most affordable EV, the MG Air, in India.  The Air EV will have a small, elegant cabin and a boxy exterior design language. In other areas, the Wuling Air EV is offered as a two-door, four-seater car. The Air EV in MG form will remain the same.The short-range variant has a 17.3 kWh battery pack, and the long-range variant has a 26.7 kWh battery pack.  The long-range version of this battery pack has a range of 200 km and 300 km, respectively. We expect the MG Air EV to be launched in the upcoming Auto Expo Motor Show.

MG 4 EV

The MG 4 EV is another electric vehicle from the manufacturer that is anticipated to be displayed at the Auto Expo. In June 2022, the MG 4 EV made its debut on a global scale. In September of that same year, it was introduced to the European market. There are two battery pack configurations available for the MG 4 EV: a 51 kWh unit and a 64 kWh one. With its tiny yet sporty posture, the MG 4 EV surely has the right appearance. The MG 4 EV's cabin will be lavishly equipped and beautifully designed. We anticipate that the company will present the MG 4 EV at the auto show before launching it later in 2023.

MG Gloster & ZS EV Facelifts

With new features and some aesthetic improvements, MG updated its ZS EV and flagship SUV Gloster in 2022. These two vehicles will also be on display for the brand at the upcoming Auto Expo. Although we can't ensure that the brand will make any modifications to these two cars, it's possible that the brand has something in the works.

Verdict: The brand will display two EVs or may have new concept cars prepared for the forthcoming motor show due to the upcoming emphasis on EVs. The much-anticipated facelifts of the Hector & Hector Plus SUV will be the main draw for customers. On January 5, MG will unveil a new product, but it is not yet clear which one.
