Once a segment leader, it lost its position to the popular Kia Seltos. Hyundai Creta has established a brand in itself with the Indian masses and the SUV is available with a powerful petrol engine too. The 1.6-litre, four cylinder, naturally aspirated engine makes 122 bhp along with 151 Nm of peak torque. It returns a fuel efficiency of 15.29 km/l.
Also, Hyundai will introduce the next-gen Creta at the 2020 Auto Expo. The mid-size SUV is built on the new platform and will share its engine with the Kia Seltos. With the new Creta, it will boast more features and then it will be fair to see how the SUV fairs with the competition.

Yes, this SUV is still on sale and though demand remains poor, the Duster makes it to this list. The 1.5-litre petrol motor generates 106 PS of power and is available with an optional CVT gearbox. This unit helps it offer 14.99 kmpl under test conditions - this infact is better than the Ford EcoSport 1.5 AT which couldn't make it to this list.
