Skoda Auto India Private Limited recently launched the new Skoda Kushaq mid-size SUV in the country. The new Skoda Kushaq gets two turbocharged petrol engine options - a 1.0-litre TSI and a 1.5-litre TSI. While we knew all about the Kushaq's 1.0-litre TSI engine, the fuel economy figures of its more powerful 1.5-litre TSI mill were not known yet. But now, the mileage figures of the Skoda Kushaq 1.5-litre TSI are finally here. Let's have a look at them.

As you have seen in the above tables, surprisingly the new Skoda Kushaq's bigger and more powerful 1.5-litre TSI versions deliver more mileage than the smaller 1.0-litre TSI versions. However, it needs to be mentioned that these are ARAI-claimed mileage figures and these numbers might vary in real-world driving conditions. That being said, the Skoda Kushaq 1.5-litre TSI turned out to be surprisingly powerful and yet quite fuel-efficient too.
Skoda Kushaq - Engine Specifications
Skoda Kushaq is available with two BS6 compliant turbo petrol engines. The first one is a 1.0-litre TSI that develops 115 PS of power and 175 Nm of peak torque. Then, we have the 1.5-litre TSI that churns out 150 PS of maximum power and 250 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines of this SUV come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. The 1.0-litre TSI model also gets a 6-speed AT while the 1.5-litre TSI gets a 7-speed DSG. The 1.5-litre TSI of the Kushaq gets cylinder deactivation technology too for better fuel efficiency.

Skoda Kushaq - Price and Rivals
The new 2021 Skoda Kushaq is available in India in three variants. They are Active, Ambition and Style and it has been priced between Rs 10.49 lakhs - Rs 17.59 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
