Skoda Kodiaq RS

This is set to be an exciting year for the brand, as it will introduce a performance-oriented version of its flagship SUV, the Kodiaq. The model was also showcased at the event and featured a larger set of diamond-cut alloy wheels, likely measuring 19 or 20 inches. This SUV will share its powertrain with the Octavia RS, featuring a 2.0-litre TSI engine paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system. The engine produces 265 PS and 370 Nm of torque. As per the brand's plans, the SUV is scheduled to launch in Q2 2026, with an expected price range of Rs 48 - 49 lakh. It will compete with the Volkswagen Tayron R-Line.
Octavia RS

This legendary nameplate, which sold out in less than 20 minutes during the Diwali period last year, is set to return in Q4 2026 with an updated version. The model played a significant role in strengthening Skoda's aspirational appeal, reinforcing the brand's positioning as a premium European carmaker despite its focus on more affordable offerings for the Indian market. The Octavia RS helped ensure that Skoda was not perceived merely as another mass-market brand. The tremendous response boosted confidence within the company's leadership, and as a result, Skoda has decided to bring it back.
Kylaq

The sub-4-metre SUV that rewrote Skodas history in 2025 is set to become more diversified with the introduction of new variants. Two new core trims - Classic+ and Prestige+ - will be added to the lineup. The Classic+ variant, positioned above the base trim, will offer additional convenience features along with the option of a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The Prestige+ variant will introduce further feature additions.

With these updates, Skoda will expand the Kylaq's portfolio to six variants across 11 price points. Additionally, the Kylaq Sportline+ trim is scheduled to be launched in Q3, further strengthening the appeal of an already strong-selling model.
Verdict
The brand's product roadmap highlights a focused push to sustain momentum in the Indian market. The expanded Kylaq lineup strengthens an already successful model that has emerged as a key volume driver. Supported by strong sales performance, the company is witnessing rapid growth and improved market presence. Looking ahead, there is a high likelihood that the Skoda Slavia will receive a facelift later this year, which should further refresh the portfolio and help maintain competitiveness across key segments.
