Skoda India is going to launch its three new products in the Indian market. The Skoda Rapid 1.0 TSI, Skoda Superb facelift and Skoda Karoq going to launch on 26th May digitally. The Rapid and the Superb are getting a mid-cycle update whereas the Karoq is an all-new offering from the Czech carmaker.

Talking about Skoda Rapid 1.0 TSI first, it is powered by a 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine which produces 110 PS and 175 Nm of torque paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. A 6-speed torque converter gearbox will be added to the range later. Rest of the specs and features are similar to the BS4 Rapid, features a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, automatic climate control, steering mounted control, cruise control etc.
The Rapid was available with 1.6-litre MPI petrol and 1.5-litre diesel, both were discontinued after the BS6 norms kicked in. The Rapid will be launched in multiple variants and it will compete with cars like 2020 Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Maruti Ciaz, Toyota Yaris and Volkswagen Vento
The next car from Skoda is the Superb facelift - Skoda's premium sedan which competes with Germans. Powering the Superb facelift is a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that churns out 190 PS and 320 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 7-speed DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox). There is no diesel engine and manual transmission option on offer.

Coming to the features, the Superb offers features like virtual cockpit driver display, an updated 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and SmartLink connectivity. It also gets ventilated seats, three-zone climate control and ambient lighting. The Skoda Superb will be sold in two trims - Sportline and Laurin & Klement.
The latest product from the brand for the Indian market is the Skoda Karoq. This Compass-rivalling SUV sits on the MQB platform and comes via the CBU route. Powering the Karoq is a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine churning out 148 BHP and 250 Nm of peak torque paired to a 7-speed DSG gearbox. Skoda will launch the Karoq, Rapid and Superb on 26th May at 12:30 PM digitally.

The Karoq is a feature-packed with features likes 8.0-inch touchscreen system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, digital driver's display, panoramic sunroof, 17-inch alloy wheels, full-LED headlamps, dual-zone climate control system, 12-way electrically-controlled driver seat, leather seats, ambient lights and much more. Unlike the other two cars, the Karoq will be sold in just a single fully-loaded variant just like its brother - The Volkswagen T-Roc.
