Tata Altroz CNG Started Reaching Dealerships Ahead Of Launch - Details

The Altroz premium hatchback from Tata Motors will soon be available with a CNG powertrain. Prior to its launch, the brand has already begun accepting bookings for the upcoming CNG hatch. Now that the vehicle has begun to arrive at dealerships, potential customers can experience the vehicle in the showrooms. The brand's twin-cylinder technology will be present in the upcoming Altroz iCNG.

Tata Altroz iCNG

Six variants of the upcoming Altroz iCNG will be available: XE, XM+, XM+(S), XZ, XZ+, XZ+(S), and XZ+O(S). The XM+(S), XZ+(S), and XZ+O(S) models, three of these six versions, will all have an electric sunroof. This will be the first CNG hatchback with a sunroof. Customers with limited budgets will also have the choice of a sunroof in lower variations because the sunroof will be available starting with the mid-level variant.

If we talk about the features, it will get 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 4-speakers, steering-mounted controls, navigation, and electrically foldable and adjustable ORVMs,  utomatic climate control, mood lighting, a cooled glovebox, TPMS, Xpress cool AC, wireless charging, leather-wrapped steering, and a rear fog lamp among other features. On the safety front we can anticipate, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, a reverse parking camera with guidelines, and other features.

Tata Altroz iCNG Engine

The soon-to-arrive Altroz iCNG will be powered by a 1.2-liter bi-fuel petrol+CNG engine. Compared to the 1.2-liter engine used in the Tiago and Tigor iCNG models, this engine will be tuned differently. In CNG mode, the Altroz iCNG can generate 72.5 bhp of power and 103 Nm of maximum torque, and in petrol mode, 85 bhp and 113 Nm. This engine will be combined with a 5-speed manual transmission.
