Tata Motors has quietly launched the Nexon CNG Dark, which comes in three variants, priced between Rs 12.70 lakh and Rs 14.70 lakh. True to its name, the Nexon CNG Dark features an all-black exterior, including blacked-out metallic elements, paint, and alloy wheels, while the interior continues the dark theme for a sleek, modern look. Tata Nexon CNG Dark Introduced
Tata Nexon CNG has finally been introduced in its Dark Edition run, which joins the long list of already active dark editions of other Tata SUVs. Similar to the Dark Edition of the regular petrol and diesel-powered Nexon, the CNG variant also comes with an all-black exterior. The striking look is enhanced by blacked-out elements, including 16-inch alloy wheels and skid plates. By the looks of it, the model justifies the tag to the very end and enhances the deep look of the Nexon. .
While the interiors do get that all-black theme as usual with the other dark editions from the brand, the feature list remains the same as regular Nexon. Technology and comfort features are plentiful in the top-spec Fearless Plus PS trim including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, ventilated front seats for added comfort, a wireless phone charger, and a panoramic sunroof for a spacious feel, 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, TPMS, and much more.

Engine Details
The Nexon CNG is powered by the familiar 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol-CNG engine that delivers a healthy 100 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, but no automatic option as of now.

Verdict
The Dark Edition is one of those editions that have a separate cult follwoing, those who look for the chrome-less, all black treatment inside out on their vehicles. Although sometimes buyers tend to consider the dark editions and the regular black colour models as somewhat the same, the difference is quite evident when placed side by side. However, you also shell out a bit more for that exclusivity, that attracts eyeballs on the roads.
