Tata Punch Gets Dearer By Up To Rs. 17,000 - Old vs New Price List

Tata Punch made the biggest headlines by becoming the highest-selling car for the year 2024, ending a 40-year streak of Maruti Suzuki. This was the first time in 40 years that the top seller did not carry a Maruti moniker and while it is a feather in its cap, the micro SUV now carries a higher price tag with a hike of up to Rs. 17,000. Tata Punch: Old vs New Price List

Tata has adjusted the pricing of its Tata Punch micro-SUV for the new year with the most modest increase, Rs. 7,090, affecting the entry-level Pure MT trim, shifting its starting price to Rs. 6,19,990 from the previous Rs. 6,12,990. A number of mid-range variants, including the Pure (O) MT, Adventure S (both MT and AMT), Adventure+ S (both MT and AMT), and Accomplished+ (both MT and AMT), experience a uniform price jump of Rs. 12,090. The Adventure and Adventure Rhythm trims, in both manual and AMT versions, see a larger increase of Rs. 17,090, which happens to be the highest as well. Engine Details

The Tata Punch offers two powertrain choices. The first is a 1.2-liter, naturally aspirated, three-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 87.8 PS of power and 115 Nm of torque, available with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Alternatively, buyers can opt for a 1.2-liter petrol-CNG engine, which produces 73.5 PS and 103 Nm of torque and is paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission.
