Till now, Toyota rebadged the existing Maruti vehicles and sold them under the Toyota branding. But now, Maruti is coming very soon with its Toyota Innova Hycross rebadged as Maruti Engage. Maruti Suzuki's Innova Hycross Front Grille Design Leaked
Going by the leaks, the Maruti Engage will get the familiar grille design from its NEXA line-up. Ahead of its launch, the grille design leaks give away some hint at what the new flagship product from the carmaker could look like.
The hexagonal grille with black mesh and chrome outlines has been the signature element of the newer NEXA cars. So, the new MPV will be spotting the same design along with the 3pod DRLs and split headlamp assembly, conforming to the brand's identity that we have seen with the Baleno and Grand Vitara already. What will remain the same is the road presence that the Hycross has.

Powertrain And Expected Features
Under the hood, the engine unit will remain exactly the same. It will get a 2.0-liter petrol engine that is good for 172.99 hp of max power and 209 Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a CVT gearbox. The 2.0-liter petrol hybrid variants produce 183.7 hp and 188 Nm. It comes mated to an e-drive with a sequential shift. Innova Hycross hybrid variants are equipped with a 168-cell Ni-MH battery.
Since it is based on the Hycross, the cabin, and features will follow suit. Expect it to come loaded with ADAS, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, a large touchscreen infotainment unit, a digital instrument cluster, leatherette seat upholstery, ventilated seats, and more.
VERDICT - Even when both carmakers share the products, they are largely the same, but carry little tweaks here and there for a separate identity. The same is the case here, like the brands create their identity with a signature grille, Maruti Engage will keep this ritual going on.
