VW India has launched the Taigun 1st-anniversary edition to mark its 1-year success in the Indian market. It is based on the top-of-the-line, Topline variant and is priced from Rs 15.69 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. In this article, we will be sharing every change that this edition gets!
This edition gets three colour options -
Rising Blue
Curcuma Yellow
Wild Cherry Red
There are a total of 11 new elements in the VW Taigun 1st Anniversary edition. These include high lux fog lamps, body-coloured door garnish, black C-pillar graphics, black roof foil, door-edge protector, black ORVM caps, window visors along with aluminium pedals and more.

This edition is offered with the Dynamic line of VW Taigun only. It gets powered by a 1.0-litre, TSI petrol motor. The three-cylinder engine belts out 114 bhp of power with a peak torque of 178 Nm. A six-speed manual transmission is offered as standard and a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox is observed as an option.
Feature-wise, Taigun is offered with ventilated cooled seats, an electric sunroof, a touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, steering mounted audio controls, automatic climate control and more.
On the safety front, Taigun comes with a full range of 40+ safety features such as like six airbags, ABS with EBD and ESC, multi-collision brakes, reverse camera, ISOFIX, TPMS, a high-speed alert system, reverse parking sensors and more.
