Volkswagen has revealed the Matte edition of the Taigun SUV at its Annual Brand Conference 2023. The New VW Taigun Matte Edition comes in a unique-looking Carbon Steel Grey color with a Matte Finish. It gets several interior and exterior cosmetic changes including the red accents in the front, the rear, and the sides. It also gets red color front disc brake calipers. In the interior, it comes with Leatherette Seat Upholstery with red stitching and red color inserts on the dashboard. Here are all the specifications & features of the VW Taigun Matte Edition.

When launched, the VW Taigun Matte will be available only in the top-end GT Plus variant and will come with the 1.5L TSI Petrol engine that produces 150 PS of power. It will only be offered with the 6-speed manual gearbox and will come with R17 Alloy Wheels.

On the features front, it will get some matte edition exclusive updates like glossy black door handles, door mirrors, & rear roof spoiler. It will also get all the GT elements like GT branding on the front grille & at the rear, GT Fender badge, Red brake caliper in front, Sporty aluminum pedals, Red stitching for seats, D飯r inserts, Red ambient lighting, Red theme Digital cockpit, and R17 Manila alloys with dual tone finish.

The new matte edition of Taigun will get several comfort & convenience features like Full LED headlamps with LED DRLs, Functional roof rails, Infinity LED tail lamps, Rear wiper & washer, ACT (active cylinder management technology), Reverse parking camera, 25.65 cm Touchscreen Infotainment system, Wireless mobile charging, 20.32 cm Digital instrument cluster, wireless Android auto/Apple car play, Smart touch Climatronic auto AC, KESSY (keyless entry and start system), Electric Sunroof, Leather multi-function steering wheel, Ventilated front seats, Auto headlamps with coming/ leaving the home function, etc.

It also offers all the advanced safety features like 6 Airbags, ESC (electronic stability control), Tire pressure deflation warning, Rear seat belt reminder, Auto-dimming interior rearview mirror, etc.

Verdict: The new matte edition of Taigun showcased at the VW ABC 2023 looks unique. It could be a good addition to the lineup of VW Taiguun and attract a lot of buyers. However, its launch date is yet to be confirmed by the brand. We hope that VW will bring this special edition Taigun to India soon.
