Design

When it comes to the design, it is an important factor for many, i.e can make or break the deal for some. Beginning with the 3XO, the RevX edition is different from the regular 3XO. This edition offers a few cosmetic upgrades over the standard, including the body-coloured grille, blacked-out steel rims with covers, and the RevX badging on both the C pillar and tailgate.

On the other hand, the Kylaq carries Skoda's classic design language. The front fascia features a similar but smaller grille that you must have seen on the Kushaq. While that housed the LED DRL and the LED headlamps, lower than that. At the bottom, you'll notice a subtle cladding, which adds to the appeal. Meanwhile, the side profile remains minimalistic with that cladding running throughout and the 16-inch steel wheels in the Classic variant. At the rear, those small LED taillamps hint a bit of the Audi Q2. Meanwhile, that Skoda lettering is running across the tailgate. At the bottom, it features a thick cladding which adds to its sportier stance.

Features

While both the variants are entry-level but Mahindra has still managed to offer a decent set of features with the RevX edition. The RevX M variant welcomes you with leatherette upholstery. Not just this, you get plenty of features, including a 10.25-inch infotainment, steering-mounted controls, 35 standard safety features and all four disc brakes. Meanwhile, the Skoda Kylaq Classic, being a cost-effective variant, misses out on a lot of features. It gets a basic infotainment, manual AC, fabric upholstery and standard safety features.

Powertrains
The Mahindra XUV 3XO RevX M variant is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol unit, which belts out 111.4 PS and 200 Nm of torque. It comes paired with a 6-speed manual transmission only. On the other hand, the Skoda Kylaq is powered by a 1.0-litre TSI petrol unit, which belts out 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque. While in the Classic variant, it comes paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Kylaq offers slightly better power, but 3XO takes the lead in torque figures.
