Like we have said earlier, the 2020 Hyundai i20 is the most anticipated hatchback in the Indian market right now. The launch is slated for November 5 and the bookings have already started. The 2020 Hyundai i20 will be offered in four variants - Magna+, Sportz, Asta and Asta(O). In this recent spy shot, we bring you what the mid-spec Sportz variant of the 2020 Hyundai i20 gets.

Mentioning about the exteriors first then it gets those Flex wheels which are of similar design we have seen on the S variant of the Hyundai Creta. These wheels resemble the design of alloy wheels because of black shade but make no mistake because they are not. They measure 16-inch in size.

Also, unlike the top-spec variants which get chrome door handles, this one sports body-coloured door handles only. Also, the ORVM gets integrated indicators and we are expecting it t feature retractable function too. Also, at the front, it will feature halogen headlights instead of the projector ones which will be seen on the Asta and Asta(O).
Moving to the interiors, the touchscreen is smaller in size that is of 8.0-inch and will get modern connectivity features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Another noticeable change is that it will come with manual AC controls unlike the automatic unit for the top variants.
This one sported a 6-speed manual gearbox indicating it to be a diesel engine. The Sportz variant will be offered in three engine options - 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol with 5-speed MT and CVT gearbox, a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol with iMT gearbox and then the 1.5L turbo diesel with 6-speed MT.

Once launched, the hatchback will compete with the likes of Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza, Tata Altroz and Honda Jazz. It is expected to start from s 5.89 lakh and the top model fetching till Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The new i20 will pack in loads of first-in-segment features along with multiple powertrain options.
