2022 Toyota Innova Hycross To Get ADAS - Details

Toyota Kirloskar Motor is all set to debut its upcoming product, Innova Hycross on November 25. Ahead of its official unveiling, several details of the MPV are out and the latest is that it will be offered with ADAS. Yes, it will get Toyota Safety Sense (TSS).

The Hycross will be the first Toyota product to feature ADAS in India. No other mass-market Toyota product gets this feature. We share the list of things that this safety system from Toyota gets.

Other than the ADAS, other safety features expected on the Hycross are multiple airbags, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, traction control, a 360-degree camera, vehicle stability control, front and rear parking sensors, all-wheel disc brakes and more.

Feature-wise, the Hycross will get a large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, LED projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights and more. We can also expect dual-zone climate control in the higher variants of the upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross.

Under the hood, there will be two engine options - a strong hybrid and a naturally aspirated petrol. Both the motors are expected to be of 2.0L capacity and the same that we see in the new-gen Corolla. This 2.0L unit is available in hybrid as well as non-hybrid forms. There will be no diesel engine this time.

Verdict

The new-gen Innova Hycross is more on features, safety and even space as it is longer in dimension when compared to the Crysta. It gets a hybrid motor which is a first for any Innova along with other first of many things. We expect it to be priced from Rs 20 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
