Just recently, another undercover snap of this prototype was caught in action during tests in the beautiful Austrian Alps. And just like every spy shot reveals a little something new, this time it looks like most of the changes are on the surface. 2024 Hyundai Tucson: Glimpse Under The Camouflage

Although most of the car is hidden under a mysterious black cover, if you look closely, you can spot a different grille design that still keeps its familiar shape. The claw-like taillights and those cool daytime-running lights at the front, nestled within the grille just below the main headlights, seem to be sticking around. Oh, and don't forget the fancy new alloy wheels that are replacing the old ones.

Now, here's the exciting part: This shiny new model is set to hit dealerships around the world later this year, rocking the 2024 model badge. And guess what? Hyundai is cooking up something special under the hood. They're planning to offer either a hybrid or an electric version of this SUV in every segment they compete in by the end of next year.

2024 Hyundai Tucson: Exploring the Interior

Now, when we step inside this prototype's cabin, we notice something interesting about the dashboard. It's wrapped in fabric, and if you glance at the steering wheel, you'll see it's borrowed from the new Kona small SUV. What's unique about it is the little strip in the middle  where the Hyundai logo usually sits  adorned with four dots. Interestingly, these dots spell out 'H' in Morse code.

When it comes to the tech stuff, Hyundai and Kia seem to be thinking big. The current 10.25-inch displays might be getting an upgrade to larger dual 12.3-inch screens. Plus, there's talk of some fresh infotainment software making its way into the mix. The upgraded model will feature adaptive LED projector headlights, replacing the previous reflector LED beams, and will also include a heads-up display for added convenience.

Furthermore, it will retain its Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, along with the Hyundai Bluelink connected car technology. Additional features encompass voice recognition, cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), child seat anchors (ISOFIX), and Hyundai SmartSense equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Surround View Monitor (SVM), and more.

Now, let's talk about the heart of this vehicle  its powertrain. You'll have three options to choose from: a smooth 2.0-litre non-turbo gasoline engine, a peppy 1.6-litre turbocharged gasoline engine, and a robust 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine.
