2024 Kia Carnival Facelift Revealed Completely Ahead Of Launch: Pics

The facelifted Kia Carnival, set to launch in India next year, has been spotted without camouflage prior to its global debut, which is expected in the coming weeks. After its global debut, it will soon be making its comeback here in India. While the updates are significant this time around, there is a certain pattern with Kia cars moving forward.

The updated model showcases a fresh front fascia featuring a new grille with chrome accents, LED daytime running lights reminiscent of the Seltos sold in India, vertically stacked headlights, new dual-tone alloy wheels, roof rails, and a distinctive LED light bar at the rear. The taillights sport a design similar to what's anticipated on the upcoming Sonet. The overall design of the front and rear bumpers is clean and minimally sculpted, with chrome inserts adding a touch of sophistication.

This now seems to be standard practice with the updates coming from some time. Kia is standardizing typical front and rear facia elements for a quick connection with the brand identity. The styling of LED lights at the rear and front reminds us of the updated Seltos that made its way just a while ago. This is something that we have seen earlier with the new updates rolling out from the house of Tata with its new Nexon, Harrier, and Safari facelifts.

Upcoming Kia Carnival Facelift: Interiors

On the interior, the 2024 Kia Carnival is likely to introduce new features such as an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, a redesigned dashboard, a single-screen unit housing the instrument cluster and infotainment system, and rear entertainment screens. The South Korean automaker presented the pre-facelift iteration of this upscale MPV earlier this year during the Auto Expo.

While it was already a spacious and feature-packed proposition, it is expected that the facelift version will include some more tech on board for a richer experience. While this is the info available at the moment, we will have to wait as further details are unearthed on the road to its Global launch.

Powertrain

Powering the upcoming Kia Carnival facelift is expected to be the same 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine, delivering 200bhp and 400Nm, with power sent to the wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.

While the global launch is coming soon, the Indian launch is expected sometime next year. And with the potential upgrades inside the cabin, the starting price of the facelift version will be a notch higher than before to accommodate the new additions.
