2025 Maruti Wagon R Launched At Rs 5.64 Lakh - 6 Airbags Standard

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, India's favourite hatchback, is updated for MY2025, and now its price has gone up. Plus, 6 airbags have become standard across all variants. Also, India's largest automaker, in the past few days, has updated their Grand Vitara, Eeco, Alto K10, and Celerio with 6 airbags. Maruti Wagon R, India's very own tall boy, continues to be the top seller despite an t-sunami of SUVs washing away the sales of other body type vehicles. However, nothing can destroy Wagon R, as the value this car proivdes, is hard to find in any other. To add more, its spacious, people taller than 6-feet can sit easily as headroom is ample, features on offer are acceptable, fuel efficiency is top notch, and maintaience is super low. Now, it even gets 6 airbags as standard, along with ABS with EBD, electronic stability program and hill hold assist.

Apart from this, there are no mechanical and other changes to the features list, and it continues to sell with three sets of powertrains: a 1.0L 3-cylinder, 1.0L with CNG, and 1.2L 4-cylinder. To add more, the first engine makes 66.62 ps and 89 Nm of torque, and can be paired with a 5-MT and AGS. Now, with a CNG cylinder, the power goes down to 56.70 ps and torque to 82.1 Nm. That said, if you want your Wagon R to have a more refined engine with much better power, then Maruti offers the 1.2L K-Series engine, which is also there in Baleno and other Maruti cars. It makes 89.73 ps and 113 Nm, and here too the transmission options are MT and AGS.
