The collaboration between Toyota and Maruti Suzuki has resulted in the introduction of four rebadged models. Engine Specs: No Diesel Option, But...
Under the hood, the Rumion features the identical 103hp, 137Nm, 1.5-litre petrol engine found in the Ertiga. It comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, it offers a factory-fitted CNG kit, delivering 88hp and 121.5Nm in CNG mode and 101hp and 136Nm in petrol mode. Toyota asserts that the Rumion petrol achieves a fuel efficiency of up to 20.51kpl. Meanwhile, the CNG version boasts a mileage of 26.11km/kg.
While the oil burner takes the hit, like in Ertiga, the CNG powertrain makes up for it.
Price And Rivals
The ex-showroom price of the Rumion starts at Rs.10.29 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 13.68 lakhs. The variant-wise breakup is as follows.

Verdict
While the Toyota Rumion is a rebadged Maruti Ertiga, it still retails at a good uptick over the Ertiga for the exact same variant.
