Maruti Suzuki has steadily been upping its game in the features department, but the new Maruti Victoris SUV marks a turning point. 1. ADAS Level-2

The Victoris is the first Maruti Suzuki model to be equipped with Level-2 ADAS. The package includes adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, high-beam assist, and rear cross-traffic alert. These features not only enhance safety but also make highway driving more relaxed and stress-free, putting the Victoris closer to premium SUVs in terms of tech.
2. Gesture-Controlled Powered Tailgate
Another new addition is the powered tailgate with gesture control. Already available on some premium MPVs, Maruti has now brought it into the SUV space. The convenience of opening the boot with just a wave of your foot, especially when your hands are full of luggage, is a thoughtful touch that customers in this segment will appreciate. While the Invicto also offers a powered tailgate, it misses out on any gesture control.
3. 10.25-inch Digital Cluster

Maruti has taken things a step further by introducing its largest digital instrument cluster yet, a 10.25-inch display. Available on higher trims, it offers crisp graphics and a wealth of information, from fuel economy and range to navigation and hybrid system data. The full-digital cluster significantly elevates the driving experience compared to the smaller displays on other Maruti models.
4. 64 Colour Ambient Lighting

For the first time, Maruti has equipped one of its cars with 64-colour ambient lighting. The Victoris offers multi-zone interior illumination across the dashboard, door pads, and footwells, allowing owners to set the mood inside the cabin. This feature, usually reserved for luxury vehicles, enhances the premium feel of the SUV. While the Grand Vitara offers ambient lighting, the Victoris offers it a bit more advanced.

5. Underbody CNG Tank
The Victoris also debuts a smart engineering upgrade in the form of an underbody CNG tank. Instead of eating into the boot, the cylinder setup has been tucked neatly under the car. This ensures that buyers opting for the CNG version don't have to compromise on luggage space, a huge plus for families.
6. Advanced Features With 10.1" Infotainment Screen

At the centre of the cabin sits a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, another first for Maruti's Arena cars. It supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Alexa voice AI, an in-built app store, and even OTT apps for added entertainment. Paired with an 8-speaker Infinity audio system with Dolby Atmos, it transforms the Victoris into a connected and tech-rich SUV. While the Invicto offers a similarly sized screen, it has fewer features, giving Maruti Victoris an edge over it as well.
Verdict
With the Victoris, Maruti Suzuki isn't just offering another compact SUV, it's signaling its intent to play at the premium end of the market. From Level-2 ADAS and a powered tailgate to underbody CNG storage and multi-colour ambient lighting, the Victoris is packed with features that rival even more expensive SUVs. If Maruti can position it competitively, which it most probably will, the Victoris could very well become the company's most feature-forward and aspirational SUV to date.
