However, the ADAS tech offered in both these sedans is just camera-based. We now expect Honda to bring in its camera + radar-based latest generation Honda Sensing tech in this upcoming midsize SUV. This also seems possible because in some spy images of the camouflaged testing vehicle of the Honda SUV, a front-mounted radar is visible. This will help the new Honda SUV to give tough competition to the already on-sale MG Astor and the upcoming 2023 Kia Seltos & 2023 Hyundai Creta.

This will help it to give tough competition to its rivals like Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder which also offer a strong hybrid powertrain. Moreover, we also expect Honda to equip the hybrid variants of this new midsize SUV with a slightly larger battery than what it offers in the Honda City eHEV.
