Hyundai IONIQ SEVEN Concept e-SUV teased ahead of LA Motor Show

Hyundai has teased us with a few glimpses of the new Hyundai IONIQ SEVEN Concept e-SUV that they will preview at the upcoming Los Angeles Motor Show

Hyundai has already showcased the Ioniq 5 compact SUV and Ioniq 6 sedan, from their upcoming EV series. Recently, they revealed the Ioniq 7 large SUV via a series of teaser images before they unveil the same at the upcoming LA Motor show. This SUV will reflect Hyundai Motors future design and technology in the EV era and going by the looks of it, the Hyundai IONIQ SEVEN Concept e-SUV surely will evoke the same emotion, as its predecessors. 

The Ioniq 7 will be based on the companys 800-volt E-GMP platform This advanced platform is designed to be very flexible to accommodate a range of battery sizes and powertrain layouts.  This same platform also underpins the already in-production Ioniq 5, and the upcoming Kia EV6 and Genesis GV60.

Most of the teased images are expected to seep into the production form of Ioniq 7. Starting with the parametric pixel lighting styling for both the headlights and tail lights. This design is also found on the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6. 

But Hyundais new cabin styling is the prime focus here, which gives out the ambience of a personalised lounge. Special emphasis has been given to ensure that sustainable and eco-friendly materials are used.  Hyundai has already claimed that the Ioniq 7 will follow a form over function design philosophy, which further explains the aesthetics of the cabin.

The front row has a lounge-style chair that is wrapped in fabric material instead of leather. The second row gets a lounge-like sofa, again covered in fabric. There is a lot of wood available for the same throughout the cabin. The dashboard design is yet to be seen. But, given Hondas trend to adorn the dashboard with screens, the Ioniq 7 might have a similar set-up.
