Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition Launched, Prices Start From Rs 10.14 Lakh

The Hyundai Venue has received yet another update, and it is now available in the Adventure Edition. Prices for the Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition range between Rs 10.14 lakh to Rs 13.38 lakh (ex-showroom), and the changes are only cosmetic in nature, as it retains the same mechanicals.

Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition; What's Different?
The Venue Adventure Edition receives the similar Khaki Ranger paint scheme, which we have also seen on the older Creta and Alcazar Adventure Edition. Bits such as the grille, alloy rims, ORVMs, shark-fin antenna, badging, roof-rails, and the skid plates now receive black treatment all around. Also present are red brake callipers and an Adventure Edition emblem on the fenders.
On the inside, the Venue Adventure Edition gets an all-black treatment, with sage-green inserts for contrast, exclusive Adventure edition seats with light sage-green colored highlights, metal pedals, and 3D Designer Adventure mats. However, the overall layout of the interiors remains the same, featuring the same 8-inch infotainment touch screen, a fully-digital cluster, the familiar steering wheel and centre console.
The Venue Adventure Edition also features a dual-dashcam; a must-have given the traffic conditions lately.

Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition; Powertrains and Variants
The Venue Adventure Edition will be available with both the 1.2-litre MPi and the 1.0-litre petrol powertrains. While the 1.2-litre unit will come only with the 5-speed manual, the turbo-petrol will come exclusively with the 7-speed DCT gearbox. Here's how much the variants cost (all prices ex-showroom):
- 1.2-litre MT S(O)+: Rs 10.14 lakh
- 1.2-litre MT SX: Rs 11.21 lakh
- 1.0-litre DCT SX (O): Rs 13.38 lakh

Verdict
The Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition is for someone who wants all the traits of the Venue, but in a more rugged-looking, de-chromed avatar. With the updated Creta and the Alcazar not having received Adventure versions just yet, the Venue is currently the only one in the Adventure Edition lineup.
