India-Bound Hyundai Ioniq 5 Range Revealed - Here Are All Details!

Hyundai recently announced that it is all set to expand its EV portfolio in India. The Korean carmaker aims to launch over 23 all-electric cars in the next four years while in India, it will introduce six new electric vehicles in the coming seven years. The new Ioniq 5 too will be launched in India and will be offered as a well built, practical, and premium electric car in India. Ahead of the launch, the Indian-spec Hyundai Ioniq 5 range has been revealed and here are all the details that you should know about this upcoming electric SUV in India. In the recent reports, the Environment Protection Agency, an executive agency of the United States Federal Government has confirmed that the Ioniq 5 gets a maximum range of 487 km on a single charge. The same iteration of the vehicle will be introduced in the Indian market. Globally, the car takes on the rivals like the Audi RS e-Tron, Ford Mustang Mach-E, etc. An all-wheel-drive version of the car is also on offer that gets a claimed range of 411km on a single charge.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 boasts a simple and futuristic look that boasts minimalistic styling and sharp cuts. The car also gets sleek LED headlights and a bold front bumper design. Furthermore, the car also gets stylish dual-tone alloy wheels while the rear too gets a similar design language. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 not only looks great but also looks exclusive and much better than many of the rivals.

Globally, the Ioniq 5 is offered with two battery options that include a 58 kWh battery pack and a 72.6 kWh battery pack. The car can also be had with a single motor set up or a dual motor set up. The powertrain not only helps the Ioniq 5 boast impressive performance but in addition to this, also gets supreme range on a single charge. The car can be charged using a standard AC charger and a 350kW fast charger. The car also scored a five-star safety rating in the Euro NCAP crash tests.
