Jeep Meridian Facelift Coming With More Features And Variant-Specific Interior Themes
The American automaker is set to introduce a revamped Jeep Meridian facelift featuring two new entry-level trims, known as Longitude and Longitude O, both with front-wheel drive. Above these in the lineup will be the Limited O and Overland trims. These new base models aim to make the Meridian more accessible, currently priced between Rs 31.23 lakh and Rs 39.83 lakh (ex-showroom). Notably, this is the first time that the Meridian will be available with a 5-seater option as well.
The Jeep Meridian is expanding its horizons with the introduction of two exciting entry-level trims: Longitude and Longitude O. These variants cater to those seeking a budget-friendly adventure companion, offering a versatile 5-seater layout with a 6-speed manual gearbox only with a front wheel drive set-up. Other higher trims will continue with the same 7-seater configuration. But the enhancements don't stop there. The updated Meridian boasts a symphony of interior color themes to match the trim levels. Lower trims exude a sophisticated grey ambiance, while the Limited O elevates the experience with a beige color theme. For those shelling out for the premium variants, the top-spec variant unveils a captivating green interior for a different cabin vibe.
Previously lacking ADAS features offered by some of its rivals, the updated Meridian now includes these features potentially including adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and lane-keep assist. Inside, the Meridian currently offers a premium experience with a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a wireless phone charger, powered and ventilated seats, and a powered tailgate. In terms of safety, the Meridian features six airbags as standard, electronic stability control, a tire pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera with parking sensors, a hill start assist, and ISOFIX child anchorages, and more.

Powertrain To Remain Same
The updated Jeep Meridian facelift will continue to be powered by a 2-liter diesel engine that produces 170PS and 350 Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic transmission. Both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations will be available, with all-wheel drive being paired exclusively with the 9-speed automatic transmission.
