Kia Seltos HTK+ Variants Launched At Rs.15.4 Lakhs; New Features

Kia has launched 2 new automatic variants of the Kia Seltos SUV making the gearbox more affordable than before. Introduced in both petrol and diesel AT, the prices start at around Rs. 15.4 lakhs ex-showroom. Not only this, but other existing trims also get a few feature additions as well. Kia Seltos HTK+ Automatic Variants Launched In Petrol CVT, Diesel AT

Previously, if you had to opt for an automatic Kia Seltos, you would have to go for the second-to-top HTX variant that is priced at Rs. 16.71 lakhs for the petrol CVT gearbox. Talking about the same for diesel AT, you get a Rs. 1.28 lakhs lesser entry point. This easy access to petrol and diesel automatic is done by introducing the mid-spec HTK+ trims with the automatic gearbox. The pricing of the new variants are tabled below.

HTK+ Petrol CVT	Rs. 15.40 lakhs
HTK+ Diesel Automatic	Rs. 16.90 lakhs

Not only this, the HTK+ variant is also upgraded with the addition of new features. It now gets a panoramic sunroof, paddle shifters, drive and traction control modes, LED-connected tail lamps, LED front map lamps, and leatherette-covered steering wheel. On the outside, you do get a new shade namely the Aurora Black Pearl.

New Features Introduced With Other Trims

While the new HTK+ variants have quite a bit to offer, that is not all. The higher-spec trims namely the HTX, HTX+, GT-Line, and the X-Line also get a revised feature list with an all-Windows one touch-up/down functionality. Coming to the HTK trim, new features include keyless entry, LED DRLs, push button start/stop functionality, remote engine on/off, and connected tail lamps. Taking the refreshes a bit further, you get a revised colour palette with 5 new colour tones with the HTE base model namely- Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Intense Red, Pewter Olive, and Imperial Blue.

Kia Seltos: Powertrain Details

Kia Seltos offers a selection of 3 engine options. A 1.5 liter NA petrol unit that is good for 113bhp power and 144 Nm of torque. Next is the 1.5-litre turbo petrol that puts out 158bhp with a peak torque of 253 Nm. Lastly, the 1.5-litre diesel engine is good for 114bhp power with a torque of 250 Nm.
