While we wait for the upcoming Mahindra XUV700, its predecessor XUV500 is available with hefty discounts with some variants touching over Rs 1.2 Lakh. Yes, in a piece of recent information shared by our user, Mahindra is offering lucrative discounts for the XUV500 since the SUV will be discontinued soon.
As per the image shared below, this figure is for the W7 Automatic that comes with a 2.2L mHawk diesel unit. This is a reliable oi burner from the carmaker and pumps out 153 bhp at 3750 RPM with a peak torque of 360 Nm at 1750 RPM. A 6-speed auto is offered and this same gearbox will also be seen on the upcoming XUV700.
Sharing more details on the discount then the ex-showroom price sticks to Rs 16,72,812. Furthermore, including all the TCS, hypothecation charges, green tax, insurance, FASTag and incidental charges, the total amount comes out to be Rs 19,23,100. Over that, the dealer is offering a straight-up Rs 83,600 as a cash offer. Now, that is something.
Thereafter, you also get Rs 4500 benefit on the insurance, another Rs 10,000 rebate and the dealer is also offering accessories worth Rs 20,000. Now, that is some deal. The discount reaches close to Rs 1.18 lakh but we know for sure if you got some good bargaining skills, you can juice out some more. At Rs 18.25 lakh on-road, the price is just fair for the Mahindra XUV500 W7 AT.
