We recently broke the exclusive about the Maruti Dzire CNG Bookings and now the carmaker has launched the car at a starting price of Rs 8.14 lakh for the VXI trim. The ZXI variant is priced at Rs 8.82 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi. When compared with the petrol models, the CNG variants command a premium of Rs 95,000.
Mechanically, the 2022 Maruti Dzire CNG is powered by a 1.2L motor that generates 76 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 98.5 Nm. It gets a 5-speed manual transmission as a standard fitment. When compared with the rivals like Hyundai Aura and Tata Tigor, the 2022 Dzire is the most powerful CNG sedan in the segment along with being the most fuel-efficient one as it delivers an ARAI certified economy of 31.12 km/kg.
Both the Dzire petrol as well as Dzire CNG are now available on a monthly subscription basis too. It costs Rs 14,100 for the petrol and Rs 16,999 for the CNG variant. It allows a customer to use a new car without actually owning it and by paying an all-inclusive monthly subscription fee that comprehensively covers complete registration, service & maintenance, insurance and roadside assistance.

Feature-wise, the VXI variant of the Dzire will be equipped with a 2-Din music system with Aux-In and Bluetooth connectivity, four speakers, manual AC, all-four power windows, rear AC vents, tilt-adjustable steering wheel with multi-function controls, dual-tone interior with fabric upholstery, electrically adjustable and retractable ORVMs, LED taillights and more.
The second to the top variant, ZXI will be equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It'll also be offered with automatic climate control, six speakers, one-touch up driver side window, fog lights at the front, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, push-button start/stop and more.

With low running costs and high fuel efficiency of S-CNG vehicles, their demand has tremendously gone up as we have witnessed a 19% CAGR increase in our S-CNG sales in the past five years. This is a testimony that customers are increasingly embracing technologically advanced, eco-friendly, factory-fitted and safe Maruti Suzuki S-CNG vehicles.

He further added, The launch of Dzire S-CNG, will further strengthen our vision of green mobility and catalyze the adoption of green vehicles in India. With customers now getting a CNG option in Indias preferred sedan, the Dzire S-CNG will further alleviate the worries of rising fuel costs and provide economical and environment-friendly mobility to customers.
