Maruti Jimny Zeta Base Variant Walkaround - Bluish Black Looks Dope

Maruti Suzuki has just launched the Maruti Jimny on 7th June 2023 at Rs. 12.74 lakhs. And while the deliveries have commenced already, we now have a proper walkaround of the Jimny Zeta Base variant in Bluish Black color. The video was uploaded to a YouTube channel named 'The Car Show'.

Maruti Jimny Zeta Base Variant- Walkaround

Now, since the Jimny is offered in just 2 variants, this Zeta comes out as the base variant. However, even with that, it packs quite a punch. There are some things that it misses out on, but it is almost there. The silver-toned grille with chrome accents aesthetically complements this particular color theme.

The first thing that to notice is that the color is Bluish Black and not completely black as the impression that it gives. At the front, it gets rounded halogen headlamps with a rounded indicator above it. The fog lamps along with the headlamp washer are missing, which you get on the Alpha variant.

The side profile is the typical box-styled silhouette, with chunky cladding with 15-inch steel-rimmed wheels. There are no chrome elements while the indicator is present on the front side panels. The door handles are the same as the old-school Maruti flap-type ones.

Interior

Coming to the inside of the cabin, it gets a big 9-inch touchscreen display, the same as the Alpha variant. Meanwhile, it does not get any push start-stop system. You get the typical physical keys with lock-unlock buttons.

The steering wheel carries the modern styling and since this is the base variant, it gets manual ac controls placed below the infotainment screen. Below that, controls for all 4 windows are housed. However, it gets the 4X4 Suzuki AllGrip Pro tech as standard across both variants.

VERDICT- Maruti Jimny prices are already out. It starts at Rs. 12.74 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 15.05 lakhs for the Alpha variant. The base variant does miss out on some features but still offers decent value for money.
