Maruti Suzuki Eeco Achieves 10 Lakh Sales Milestone

The Eeco van was introduced by Maruti Suzuki in 2010, and after 13 year of production, it has surpassed the milestone of 10 lakh sales. The Eeco comes in 13 variants to meet the different requirements of the customers, which include 5-seater, 7-seater, Cargo, Tour, and Ambulance models. A few months ago, the company updated the Eeco with a new engine and new functions, making it more feature-rich and dependable.

Maruti Suzuki Eeco

The Eeco continues to have a boxy design language with features like sliding back doors, halogen headlamps up front, and 13-inch tyres. The updated Eeco's interior now includes driver-centric controls, reclining front seats, cabin air filters (in AC variants), a dome lamp with a new battery-saving feature, etc. It also gets a redesigned steering wheel, rotary air conditioner and heating controls, and a new digital instrument panel.

It has 11+ safety features, including an engine immobiliser, LED hazard switch, twin airbags, ABS with EBD, and others, in addition to dual front airbags.

The Eeco comes with a petrol and CNG powertrain options. It gets a 1.2-litre Advanced K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine that delivers power output of 80.76 PS @6000 rpm for petrol and 71.65 PS @6000 rpm for CNG variants. The Eeco petrol delivers fuel-efficiency of 20.20 km/l while the S-CNG Eeco has a fuel-efficiency of 27.05 km/kg.
